Terms of service
Dahlia Tuber Terms & Care
Please open and inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If a tuber arrives damaged or there is a problem with your order, contact Beck Farms within seven calendar days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs so we can help resolve it.
Fall Shipping & Storage
These tubers are shipped in fall and must be stored by the buyer until spring planting. Keep them in a cool, dark location around 40–50°F, protected from freezing, drying out, and excessive moisture. Check them regularly; do not leave them sealed in the shipping package.
Once received, proper storage is the buyer's responsibility. Losses from improper storage, including rot or shriveling, are not eligible for refunds. Please purchase tubers during our Fall Sale only if you are comfortable with the process of overwintering dahlia tubers.
Growing Expectations
Each purchase includes a dahlia tuber intended to grow into a flowering plant during the growing season. You are purchasing a tuber, not an established plant or cut blooms.
Growing results depend on weather, soil conditions, watering, pests, and care. We cannot guarantee growth, bloom performance, or survival after planting.
Orders, Cancellations & Crop Failure
All sales are final. Order cancellations are not accepted.
If stock becomes unavailable due to storage or crop failure before shipment, we will contact you to arrange a refund for the affected tuber or offer an available substitution with your approval.
If your order arrives with a problem, please contact us within seven calendar days of delivery, before planting or discarding the tuber. Documented arrival issues will be reviewed individually.
Plant Health & Sanitation
Disease and viruses are known challenges in dahlia cultivation. At Beck Farms, we take plant health seriously and maintain strict sanitation, monitoring, and inspection practices throughout the growing and harvesting process.
Despite these precautions, no grower can eliminate every risk associated with living plant material. Diseases and viruses can be transmitted through insects, soil, water, and other environmental factors, making their origin difficult to determine.
We cannot guarantee that plants will remain disease-free after planting. Please contact us within seven calendar days of delivery if you have concerns about the condition of your tubers upon arrival.
Respectful Communication
We value our customers and are committed to addressing concerns fairly and professionally. Beck Farms reserves the right to decline future orders or discontinue communication in cases of harassment, threats, or abusive conduct, consistent with applicable law.
